Business Ethics on Business Law

A business person definitely knows what business ethics is. Business Ethics is an applied principle that aims to determine and carefully analyze codes and values surfacing a particular business or commercial industry, the major predicaments and challenges that befalls a company and the legal obligations that must be served at all cost and must be in the conformity of any business law. Hence, making these ethical rules appropriately promoted, supported and applied.

Business ethics serves as your ruling guideline in providing and implementing decisions and judgments deemed necessary. Although, these set of moral codes are more concerned on the actual issues and problems rather than with the foundation and principles it entails. This is more focused on the applications and in providing possible solutions benefiting a greater number of people.

Business ethics can also be studied not only by those governing bodies in a particular business but also the viewpoints of employees and other small groups comprising a whole community of workforce. There are instances where set of rules are not applicable to a certain group of individuals that may benefit other circle. Some might have different interest and concern that are totally dissimilar to other employees. Therefore, business ethics would help each employee distinguish and see the value of coordination and organization of ones clashing ideas into a uniform and well manage interests.

Some of the many ethical issues evolving in a business or in a corporation are the legal laws of other countries. This would call for cultural standards that must be set by a company whose business is physically located to other areas or parts of the globe away from their country. A lot of budding questions and confusions will arise as to what set of rules should be implemented and applied given this kind of scenario.

To put in the right framework, there are countries that have laws like the legalities of bribery which in other country or in your country is totally illegal. Similar problems occur specifically on other laws like, wages, child labor, working hours, benefits and protection law. When you are trapped in this kind of state then you should learn how to make necessary adjustments not by fully accepting and abiding to what you know is unlawful but formulate ways on how you can implement your own without violating a particular country’s set of business laws.

Business ethics should therefore be recognized as part of any business governing body and business law. This need to be complied at all times not for the sole purpose of following the standard but also setting good example to people working under your authority. Business ethics mainly focus on the operational part, on social and legal responsibilities of a business; business theory, proper management, the employee’s rights, social justice; and natural rights, and most importantly, the rights related to any business enterprise.

This will all depend on the manner of how you fully implement and run your own business’ morale in establishing a successful, well developed and well managed company.
